BancorpSouth Adds 3 to Little Rock Advisory Board

BancorpSouth said Tuesday that Phyllis Brown, Dennis G. Cooper and John S. Kitterman have been named to its Little Rock advisory board.

“Our advisory board members have a very important role in assisting our bank in serving Little Rock,” BancorpSouth Little Rock President Ty Warren said in a news release. “We value their advice and input into matters that affect the central Arkansas market.”

Brown recently retired as CEO of Arkansas Cardiology P.A. in Little Rock. She is a member of MedAxiom, American College of Cardiology, Medical Group Managers Association, Cardiology Alliance Advocacy, Medicare Physician Advisory Committee and has worked with the CMS Physician Payment Review Commission as Ad-Hoc Advisor.

Cooper is a certified public accountant and partner in Frost PLLC, owner and board member of ClearPointe Holdings Inc., and president and board member of Arkansas Capital Corporation.

Kitterman is an attorney and owner of Kitterman Law Firm of Little Rock. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Foundation, Pulaski County Bar Association and was formerly an adjunct faculty member of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law School.

BancorpSouth is a $13.2 billion-asset financial holding company, operating about 290 banking and insurance locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
